HURAC LATEST NEWS, HURAC OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE

DIVISION I HURAC PRESIDENT, DOUGLAS EFEELOO RESIGNS

It will be recalled that we posted the news that HURAC RIVPOLYCSS just concluded her annual election and had Mr Douglas as the President.  However, report reaching us has it that the newly elected president Douglas Efeeloo has resigned.  The President who made a telephone call yesterday with the Senior Chief Co-ordinator, Mr Ogbomene Barikpoa to deliver the information to him failed to give any reasons for his resignation.   Shocking to him, Mr Ogbomene has asked him to officially forward his resignation letter for official records and references.

Mr Ogbomene has ordered that Miss Ebim (Surname withheld), an SS3 student be replaced immediately to avoid any delay in the delivery of official duties. The former Vice President of Division I, Mr Princewill Keka Benson has launched a probe into why Mr Douglas quickly declared his resignation intention less than one week of his success at the poll as the President of the club.  Details of the likely cause of Douglas’ resignation will be announced as soon as Mr Princewill is done with his investigation.  The Int’l Representative, Mr Kate, Wisdom Deebeke  has approved the immediate replacement of Mr Douglas with Miss Ebim and has also ordered that Douglas resignation be critically probed into.

Have you got some times, then please help us vote and comment on the actions of Mr Douglas Efeeloo.  Scroll down to take the poll.  Thanks###

  2. Thank you.
I am very excited that you are getting to the concluding part of your investigation. There is no problem with him resigning from being the club president. If the parents decided on never to sponsor his education again just because he won a presidential role and are afraid he might turn up being an activist, then he has made the right decision I think, so as to please his people. I would like if Ogbomene and your group can conduct a bye-election for the office of the president or appoint someone to lead that role to avoid usurping the office. Please, also discuss in your meeting this weekend about the proposed plan to conduct an election for the office of HURAC Electoral Chairman. I am considering replacing Legborsi with someone since he is not available at the moment. I have already discussed this with Ogbomene, however, I have not hinted Legborsi of the recent development, but will soon do that.

Once more, thank you for your comment.

  3. REPORT ON DOUGLAS’ RESIGNATION.
The information i gathered from The resignation of douglas is a total abuse to religion and human rights. It came to my notice that the resignation of douglas wasn’t voluntary but through parental influence. Reason being that the christian denomination the family of douglas belongs (JEHOVAH’S WITNESS) does not support activism, which i believe is a big blow to human rights. Mr douglas resigned because his parents never wanted to further him in life again because he was into the life of activism. I’m still on the investigation process….P.B.K (HURAC SECRETARY)
